Wednesday 12 April, 4.30-6.30pm
We’ve given this roundtable the title ‘History & Collections’. This session will examine the many different ways in which we can encounter Trinity’s past – through its buildings, its special collections, and key moments in its history – and to think about how that past continues to shape the present identities of the College.
We are delighted to have confirmed the following three speakers, who we feel are the ideal people to explore this particular relationship between College’s past and evolving identity:
- Dr Jane Maxwell: Manuscripts and Archives special collections
- Dr Edward McParland: Trinity’s buildings and architecture
- Professor David Dickson: the relationship between Trinity and Empire
